Paul Hendy is a television presenter whose recent work has included The Wheel of Fortune (ITV), Don’t Try This At Home (Series I-IV, ITV) and This Morning (Reporter, ITV).

Paul’s first novelThe Diary of a C-list Celeb, was published by Transworld Books in July 2004. . The sequel, Who killed Simon Peters followed in September 2010. Film and TV rights to both are available.

His writing for TV has included Discover Portugal and Discover Wales, (Viewing 4 Leisure), Talking TV (BBC1) and Dear Mr Barker (BBC1), which was BAFTA nominated in 1998. In 2002, he hosted his own radio show called The Paul Hendy Show (BFBS Forces Radio) and also appeared as the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury) and as Fagin in Oliver! at the same theatre in April 2004.

18 June 2024: In the 2024 Pantomime Awards  at G Live in Guildford, Paul won the Best Script award for his Aladdin at the Marlowe Theatre Canterbury: https://pantomimeassociation.co.uk/the-uk-pantomime-association-announces-the-winners-of-the-pantomime-awards-2024-in-association-with-stagecoach/

February 2025: Paul Hendy’s new play The Last Laugh, having triumphed on tour in Edinburgh and Brighton, moves to the Noel Coward Theatre in London’s West End  0n 25 February. More information about this hit production here.

Paul’s second novel, Who Killed Simon Peters? was published by Bantam Books in February 2009.
