TWICKENHAM-BORN ACTOR PETER SALLIS is justly famous for his long-established character Norman Clegg, linchpin of the TV comedy series Last of the Summer Wine. As a voice artist, Peter speaks for Wallace, the cheese-obsessed inventor who, with his dog Gromit, stars in the highly successful Aardman animated films.

Peter’s remarkable memoirs, Fading into the Limelight, are published by Orion Books.
